I wanted bulbs that I could easily change the colors as needed. These are perfect. They easily change from one color to the next with the simple push of a button. Four remotes were included with 8 bulbs. I was concerned that it would be difficult to set one bulb without changing all of the others. Although they do all respond to the remotes (and my TV remote too - beware), you can overcome changing the colors of all by getting very close to the bulb and cupping your hand around it. This worked. You can also unscrew a bulb once it is set on the color you want. Once unscrewed, they do not respond to the remote. Once you get each programmed, you can simply screw them back in and they remain on the setting. All in all, a very fun purchase. My kids LOVE them. One drawback is that the white setting does not provide good light. Ideally, the white would function as a normal bulb. It doesn't. It is not bright enough to really light up a room. These are more for mood setting than light. I have can lights in the same room so this was not a concern of mine. Also, there are really only about 5-6 bright colors. The remaining 10 seem to be a washed out variation of the brighter ones. Even with this, I was able to achieve the look I was going for. The color change setting also seems to highlight the bright colors and fades between about 5-6 different of the brightest colors. One thing I did notice about them is that if they are set in the color changing mode, they do seem to keep up with one another. All will change at the same time. I imagine if you left them on for hours at a time, they might get off of this pattern. But the timing does reset by turning off and on. If you have in any steady color mode, they stay the same color until you change them, no matter how many times you turn off and on. I thought I would be as descriptive as possible. You never know what you will get when you order something like this. These function perfectly for my needs, with the exception of the TV remote changing the setting. I can deal with that one. Enjoy!

Got it for our kids bedroom and we have some very happy customers! Has a bunch of different settings, you can have a single color, flashing to different colors (would give me the biggest headache but they like it!) and smooth transition to colors. We've used it a bit and it's still working so no complaints with that. They love the remote and the ability to make the light change colors. The remote is a good incentive to stay in bed nicely after bedtime.The only thing is that the light itself is not so bright. If you're buying as a replacement for a regular lightbulb that's not going to work. It's good if you want a dim light sort of game room effect and for us, in my kids bedroom it makes them happy and we can always just keep the shades open so we're good. Just don't get with the assumption that it will provide equivalent to regular strength bulb. I'd say it's like a bright nightlight.

I don't own any other color changing lights so I have nothing to compare it to but its a nice little light for the money, fell asleep with it on so not too bright when its on and shifting through the colors. The brightness level for me is the only drawback- I feel like the other colors are brighter than the one that is supposed to be white so as mentioned in other reviews, you can't use this for your primary light. I'm like three feet from it and its much too dim to be functional outside of adding ambiance. I might buy a few more for my living room though, for the ceiling fan.

After buying a Bluetooth Smart Bulb I was very interested in having one with a remote control for my seven year old daughter. I liked the idea of her having it as a night light. I was a little disappointed to find that the light isn't as bright as bulb I had previously bought but it is only a three watt bulb so I guess that is my bad. One main issue I have with it is that you have to be pretty close to the light bulb for the remote control to work. The remote control also isn't always responsive and will take multiple pushed to get the desired color. Once you get over that though, the colors are very pretty, and it works very well as a beautiful nightlight. I bought two, one for my daughters room and just one in the living room for fun. I have it set to fade through the different colors to add a bit of whimsy to my home. The colored light doesn't wake her up at night. If I were going to purchase more bulbs I would most likely go with a different brand in search of one that has a better remote features.

I have bought this products , from this very same seller, a total of 3 times now in the past year . The product comes with TWO light bulbs. So I have gone through SIX light bulbs in a span of a year . That’s a LOT, considering I’ve been living in the same place for the past four years and have yet to change any other lightbulbs in the house , besides my night lamp that I use these for .The last set we bought was two months ago . That means I’ve used the last two bulbs for one month each before they stopped working . As a reference , I’m using a small lamp that sits on my side bed table . I don’t have any pets or anything that will interfere with it . It doesn’t get knocked over , pumped into or otherwise misused . Regular non changing bulbs have lasted a way longer with that lamp . So I fault the product itself .And it truly sucks because for as long as they work , these bulbs are awesome . Just don’t expect them to work for too long , especially if you use them as a nightlight for example . The W- white setting on the remote , provides a shift , off white , dim light ,that’s perfect to use as a nightlight .It’s just not long lasting . Paying 15 bucks for two bulbs , three times a year seems excessive .

We bought this for our son's night table lamp, and while it isn't as bright as we'd hoped for, it's decent when dimmer as a night light on a darker colour. The included remote works well; it's easy for him to change colours and turn them on or off. A good value!
