Kids enjoy and get hooked on to reading the books in this box set. Much better than they get glued to the idiot box

Yes it makes a good gift for children. Nice packaging that collects 9 small books which are easy to hold and read.However, the books are of soft cover (unlike the excellent Tinkle Origins collection). While most of the books are of decent quality as far as printing and paper quality is concerned, the first book printing quality is terrible. I have the same story in Tinkle Origins collection, so I could clearly see the difference. The quality of production of TInkle Origins is world apart while the pricing is similar.Another concern I had was whether the modern Suppandi is as good as Ram Waeerkar's (original artist for Suppandi). Most of the books in this collection are not by Ram Waeerkar except the first two. I think this collection collected all his stories though. However, the heavy use of computers in the creation of later stories (even the speech baloons) makes me feel that the artistic quality is not a match for Ram Waeerkar. I also feel that the later artists had space restrictions to tell their stories. This also gives a cramped feeling to the reading.Generally I would say that later artists did decent job, but no match for the original's virtuosity and detailing. This is only my opinion. I would blame it on heavy use of computers than the efforts of artists here. While use of computers in comics makes the job easier, artists should also be aware of what is lost in the process and compensate for the same.Having said that, the quality of stories are mostly good keeping in the spirit of original Suppandi. This alone keeps the children hooked to this series. Of hand, I can even say that reading Suppandi helps children understand how a computer works. Suppandi just follows his instructions blindly just like computers.Anyways, I really wish this collection was produced similar to Tinkle Origins, that is, hard cover, better paper and printing quality. Then only the price of this collection is justified.

My son love this book but delivery charge is too high

My son Samarth & I couldn't put down the Suppandi collection until we had read it all.

I got it for my daughter who is a fan of Suppandi .It is good.

Total books received 9 each book has an MRP of 199/-Quality of print also the books and packing is superb ! Totally amazed me, this will keep me away from my phone and boredom and also I'm reading after a long time.Worth the price, I'm rating it 4 star because the delivery time was awful, had to wait for 7-8 days for books !
