AMAZING Value 4K UHD Option
DEFINITELY A BUDGET 4K UHD TV OPTION!Don't hesitate to consider this low price tv! My tv got fried in a storm (even though it was on a surge protector) and I immediately looked into replacement options on Amazon. I searched by average rating and this kept coming up at the top of the list. Honestly, I've never heard of the brand "Sceptre" but the rating was so high and the price was so low we decided to try it. The tv it replaced was 5 or 6 times more expensive, but this Sceptre DEFINITELY holds up! Picture is super clear and my sound bar and other equipment hooked right up. The only thing I liked more about my old tv was the keyboard on the back of the remote which made searching or logging in so much easier. HOWEVER, I had purchased an Amazon TV Cube awhile back and had just never installed it since I had the Fire Stick already. Now my tv is completely voice activated and the very basic Sceptre remote isn't ever used anyway. Not much in the way of smart features either, but paired seamlessly with the Amazon equipment so that wouldn't be used anyway... DEFINITELY A MUST BUY ON A BUDGET!!!!!!

Great 50" picture for the price
Nice thin and light 50". Same footprint as an older 46 inch TV we were replacing.Picture out of the box was nice, but really shines with some customization. Unfortunately the presets (standard, movie, game etc) don't really change it all that much. But there are options to adjust almost everything for a great user defined picture.Same goes with the sound except it did not really sound all that great out of the box, but then again I did not expect it to. Did not really notice much of a difference going from preset to preset either, but there are some options to tweak there as well. Going through a receiver to surround sound speakers so the sound quality of the TV as is does not really bother me.Remote has pretty much everything I need to control on it, plus some buttons that I have no idea what they do. It works, that is all that matters to me.Not many bells and whistles over all, but it is a great 50" 4k TV for the price range.

Great TV
Picture is great. Very nice TV. If you are using Comcast, please make sure they have turned on HD on their box (will cost 10.00 Dollars more a month). I have not used 4K yet. But with 1080i from Comcast box and also using Chromecast, picture is better than a comparable Samsung. I am being honest.Problems:1. When I switch the TV from HDMI 1.4 to HDMI 2.0, TV goes pink. I am assuming Comcast box does not support HDMI 2.02. The AV/Cable connector goes in and out. It is modular, like it is inserted into a slot and it does not lock in place. No big deal, I am using HDMIOverall, woderful TV for the prince. Definitely recommend it.It is not a Smart TV so I am not rating that.

Good tv If ur not fancy.
Good tv for the bedroom for late night Netflix. Its 4k so it has more pixels. Thats pretty much all it has, but for the price I knew that. That's why it's in my bedroom and not main room. This tv is nothing to show off. With 4k TV the blurr is gone that 1080p has but the picture is pretty standard when it comes to the color. For example water is light blue but on another tv the water is actually Turquoise. But for the bedroom the picture is fine. I play video games but rather play on my other tv for a better picture.

Good picture, not great sound, some inputs are bad
Good TV when it comes to picture, especially for the price. I love having a dumb TV, without all of the pre-loaded apps and garbage that comes with "smart" TVs. However, the sound is odd. The volume increases up until you hit 15 or so. Then it stays at that level no matter how high you turn it up (goes up to 50, I think). The other problem I had was the RCA inputs won't work. I know, who uses RCA anymore? Well, our old Nintendo Wii does, and we still love playing it. I bought a HDMI converter and it's all good now, but a new TV shouldn't come with broken inputs. Overall I guess you get what you pay for, and given the price, it's just fine.

It works great! A+
This is an awesome LED 4K TV. I currently own the Vizio 65" P-Series, and the TCL 65" 4k. This TV rivals both! I kid you not. The 720p and the 1080i picture is ok. But the 4k is breathtaking. It does not display as good as the Vizio P-Series or the TCL, but this TV has surpassed by expectations for a bedroom monitor. You can not beat the price. The only downfall, is the speakers. They throw and echo, and the sound is very shallow. You must invest in a soundbar or AVR for a better quality sound experience. Other than that, the TV is awesome. I highly recommend.

Great value and performance
We replaced an older 1080 tv with this one and found the picture to be very good. The sound is ok considering the size of the speakers but I really recommend a sound bar suited to the size of your room to prevent bass distortion at higher volume levels. Otherwise it is a great value. Set up took 5 minutes consisting of screwing the left and right feet on. The set is so light that I easily carried it across the room. Would definitely buy this brand again

Great Picture
For the money? Hands down, the best TV I have ever bought! Don't listen to the critical nit pickers, this TV is fantastic, especially for the price. I use it as a monitor, but had it hooked up without the sound system for a couple of days and the sound was pretty good for TV speakers. If you have the capability? I highly recommend hooking it up through the ARC connections though (that is the best way to do it).
