Some like it Hot 🌶️ 🔥
I just got my trio and could not wait to jump in. They are exactly what I expected and enjoy. To preface my review - I have loved and enjoyed eating hot peppers since I was a todler. I grow mild yet lovely Serrano peppers, Jalapenos, Poblanos, and Shishitos & grew Trinidad Scorpions for a couple years. Each pepper bringing their own heat profile and flavor. The ideal for me is to use the fresh, but since it is difficult to have these chilis regularly at hand in fresh format ... This powdered Trio "fits and fills the bill". This collection will probably NOT appeal to those who run for relief from a good layer of powdered Cayenne or a Cajun Blend... But if you are like me & can appreciate a hotter individual heat & mouth-print - Buy these today, they will not disappoint. For me, in terms of heat the Ghost is the most mild, the heat comes up relatively quickly, a bit sharp & fills your mouth with a pleasant hot glow for a few. Next in the "heat" line the Scorpion skips a couple beats at first then quickly flows in like a smooth wave of ever building heat that has a longer afterglow in your mouth. The most powerful punch of heat is the Reaper.... It will call all your heat sensors to attention, letting you know who is boss, hold you for a few & then release. My taste test left my nose running & a veil of sweat forming.... Just what the "heat" doctor ordered 🌶️I think my favorite is the Scorpion, but I've eaten a lot of them and miss their building heat sensation & longer lingering heat profile. But this Trio definitely has its place in my kitchen and I would buy it again!!! Use them safely, a little at a time, and remember you can always add more as needed. Enjoy 🔥🐲

Bucket List must have… BEST HEAT and FLAVOR
These bring the HEAT to any dish and the flavor is perfect for true pepper lovers (tastes like the peppers!!!). I bought these as a gift for my Brother so we could check off an item on our bucket list. Each pepper type has a very different heat effect on your mouth, ears, nose, and throat. This is great because you can combine these for a full effect. In order to get the full effect, you need to put this in food that has some kind of moisture. I recommend that you put in nacho cheese / queso / sour cream and let it sit for awhile to use as a topping. Adding to soup and chili works great also. For my Bucket List item, I put the equivalent of what I figured was one ground pepper’s worth of each type on two grilled steak burritos and mixed in the Nacho cheese sauce and sour cream I put in the burrito. The burritos were steaming hot to enhance the heat. It took about 30 minutes to eat slowly and triggered a significant endorphin rush. The heat lasted for another hour, peaking about 15 minutes into eating and lasting for over an hour after eating. I experienced extreme heat and impact to my tongue, throat, and ear canals, which I fully expected.Disclaimer: I’m not an expert or Doctor and am sharing some things I do for safety, and you should use at your own risk based on your own beliefs:…This stuff is SERIOUSLY hot- I would NOT use when cooking at all because of the risk it could become like pepper spray and cause harm- I would NOT use around children or store where children can touch this product- I would WASH HANDS and even lips/beard very well with strong soap after using or you can get it in your eyes accidentally- I would NOT shake the bottles much when using because it gets in the air and again that can cause challenges- I would prepare for a bit of stomach discomfort and then also the following challenges of course

Excellent Product
I bought a set as a gift for a loved one as well as one for myself. I've personally tried all three and believe some people may not know how best to use them. They offer more than just heat and have detectable flavors with sweet and floral notes. I recommend using 1/2 a teaspoon per 2 cups boiling water for cooking rice, vegetables, potatoes, and pasta. And, for best results a cheese or cream based sauce or infusion (i.e. milk/cream and butter in potatoes). I've also found when used as part of a dredge for frying that frying seems to tame the heat quite a bit. However, I've not yet included any of the peppers in a brine for meat to be fried later. I don't think you should eat it directly nor sprinkle it on food without cooking it with the food in some way. And, I believe it is inadvisable to use it as a part of a rub for grilled meat, though I've not tried that yet. I think the unfavorable opinions of these three pepper spices offered by others are a result of their ignorance regarding proper use and good measure rather than anything else. I plan to buy more when I run out and I also found that it helps with joint pain and then looked it up and it is medically confirmed that it does that and increases overall life expectancy by 14% if consumed 6-7 times per week in good measure as long as one doesn't regularly consume alcohol. I recommend it.
