Yes, as other reviewers have mentioned, this is just the tv show. It is the same thing one can watch on Netflix. I purchased this DVD for watching the show on the go, and this is perfect for that. I find most kids will watch the same things numerous times and not lose interest. My five year old was more than happy to have his favorite shows on demand in my car whe driving. We are not usually in the car for longer than 15-20 minutes, so it is more convenient for us to have short episodes to watch.I have purchased the meet the rescue bots books, which go along with this DVD. I prefer real time with my kids, but love the link to our reading times when I just can't read to him: like when I am driving. Hey, it is illegal to text and drive, imagine the trouble I'd be in reading a book while driving? LOLOn a serious note, this DVD was perfect for our needs, and could be for others who make it part of a bigger picture, as well. I can talk to my son about what is going on on the screen he is watching and make a conversation which interests my son. We compare "Is this like the book?" "Which book is it like?" " How is it the same?" "How is it different?"Overall, this is five stars for us. It is exactly what I expected and the price was very fair. It fit our need perfectly.

Such a cute, entertaining kids show! My daughter and son LOVE this show(so does my husband!!:) but then again he grew up loving everything transformers). We love how Optimus prime is voiced by the original actor. Best of all, our kids can enjoy transformers without the adult themes and violence that are heavily present in the newer transformers movies. Resorted to buying two longer length dvds as only one season is available without purchase on Netflix or Prime video at the moment. The show is smart and interesting and the characters and bots have feelings a are developed separate identities. I feel like the storyline is good for children, in my opinion.

This is my son’s favorite thing!

The very first part skips and pauses but after that it’s fine. My two year old son loves the show and this is the first dvd i bought from it. So glad it’s a cartoon that shows morals and has fun.

My son just turned 5 and his interest in Transformers went from 0 to 100 in no time. I really enjoy watching these with him. They have adventure, life lessons, imagination & the “bad” is often weather or technology related. So nothing super scary.

My son got into Transformers while bonding with my husband. We noticed Rescue Bots on Netflix, and decided to give it a try; For Easter this year we decided that we would purchase all the rescue bots dvds so my son could watch them while he is visiting his grandparents. This show contains a lot of action to keep my son entertained during long trips.

I was looking for a dvd about Rescue Bots because my grandson and I would watch them on the HUB station every morning. Then the HUB station stopped showing them, we both were sad. Now with this dvd we can watch them any time we want. The dvd starts from the first episode which we had not seen. I will be looking for more dvd's. It has given my grandson and myself some precious time together again!
