GeilSpace 3/4" × 12" Heavy Duty Pre-Cut Grey Metal Pipe, Industrial Steel Fits Standard 3/4 Inch Threaded Pipes and Fittings - Vintage DIY Industrial Shelving (3/4" × 12", Grey)

I had difficulty finding a fair price at the local home hardware stores and decided to chance this set of four. They were correctly made in every way, and not overly oiled (to preserve from rust).

The product was exactly as described and fair price

I purchased this pipe for use as pipe clamps. With Bessey parallel clamps, I found I was often 1 or 2 inches too short, and the 3feet clamps with pipe clamps provide a throat of about six inches more than a Bessey clamp. Read on for my impressions after testing the clamps. -- OILED: The pipes are oiled to prevent rust, and a simple wipe with a cloth cleaned them up adequately for use as pipe clamps. -- NICE THREADS: The threads are nicely cut, very clean, with no burrs, even from shipping, and are not painted or anodized, just steel. -- FIT CLAMPS PERFECTLY: The 3/4 inch pipe threaded into the clamp perfectly and went deep into the clamp for a solid connection. See the attached picture. -- NO DEFLECTION: I applied the clamps on a piece of 30-inch long, 1-inch thick maple which was perfectly flat, and set the pipe on the board. When tightening the clamp to the maximum pressure that I could apply with both hands (much more than would ever be done in practice when gluing wood) and inspecting the gap between the flat board and the pipe, I saw no gap. The pipe remained perfectly straight. See the attached picture. -- Soft Steel: The black pipe, iron or steel, is fairly soft, and the pipe clamps will leave deep gouges. Over a long period of use, the gouges will build up, and the clamp may tend to catch on the gouges as one slides the pipe clamp up and down the pipe, which will be annoying but will not affect the functionality. -- GOOD PRICE: These clamps were about ¼ the cost of the same length clamp at the brick-and-mortar store.

I use these for woodworking clamps. Pipes are thick, uniform and threads are clean. I bought a few couplings as well so I have the flexibility to connect the pipes into longer lengths.

These are ever good and would buy them again and again because they work exceptionally well.

Great product. I expected them to be old and maybe even slightly rusty but I could tell they were sturdy, well cared for and maybe even freshly cut to order. Even lightly greased, which I really appreciate. Even cheaper than the pipes they sell at Home Depot. If I have need of any other products I’ll be sure to check their stock first.

First thing I checked were the threads. They are cut clean with no tearing meaning the cutting tool was sharp. This is the most important part of a pipe for sealing. there was very little scale on the pipe, the external pipe is clean with anti rust film coating. these pipes are well made and I will buy from this seller again.

I have been looking for pipes and fittings with no luck in lowes and homedepot for safety handles at the top of my dropdown lady in my garage overhead when i am coming down stairs blindly near the top, feeling my way to secure my feet on top ladder stairs.. They work out perfect. i was able to screw two fittings into the wood floor and screw two pipes on either side of the top of stairs in attic. This gives me safety handles to hold onto when i am coming down backwards. I could not believe how perfectly these safety pipes worked out for me.

Mates well with my clamps. Heavy duty. Had to wipe the residue off the surfaces.

Good product, threaded both ends, pipes are very oily when arrive and take some cleaning, otherwise good deal.

Purchased for new Bessey wood clamps. Excellent quality, heavy duty great threads on both ends of pipe. I will be purchasing another set for sure.
