My husband who has had Type II Diabetes for the last 15 years, has taken this for quite a while now. I usually buy it at our local health food store, but they were out of stock so I bought it thru Amazon. A local physician recommends this Blood Sugar Defense and it has helped keep his blood sugar levels down within normal range and his A1C in the 5's. He takes two a day, one morning and one at night along with the Metformin Extended Release. My husband snacks, does not eat healthy at times and does not take his blood sugar level daily like he should. In fact it's usually taken at the doctor's office when he has a checkup. He was able to reduce his dose of the Metformin and I feel this product has really helped keep his blood sugar levels low. It is a tablet, but he doesn't have any problems swallowing it.

After purchasing the item I noticed some of the ingredients that appeared on the old label are different as well as some ingredients were left out. This was a great product and asking the company to make the product as before showing the exact ingredients. This was one of the best products out here so please bring it back the way it was and stop deceiving people that don't really read labels, having them think that they are getting the same product! Its okay to change the label but please not the ingredients.

This blood sugar reducer helped get my blood sugar down from 114 to 87. I am definitely happy with this purchase and will purchase again. My only wish is that it would come in a 90 or 120 tablet size.

When I got high blood sugar (above 500), I was put on Metformin. My body had an extreme reaction to this medication. I would lie down to sleep, and my body immediately went to work detoxing this stuff! So I knew that I wouldn't be able to continue taking it. So, I looked for a natural alternative. Within a month, with a strict diet and taking this the way they told me to take the Metformin (2 in the morning and two before bedtime), I got my sugar down below 90. Now, I take this as maintenance. I recommend this product. There is a reason that it is hard to find this in stock. It's that good!

I don't know why I didn't read more carefully in order to notice it has maltodextrin which is one I try to avoid when buying any products. Shows lack of care in choosing ingredients by manufacturer especially towards people trying to manage blood glucose. There are ways to avoid maltodextrin and other products with "-ose" suffixes. I won't be purchasing this again with its current formulation.
