I bought this worktop as a table top to make a 2m long standing desk. Given the price of this I was a little concerned that it would be inferior quality but it definitely wasn't.This is an absolutely cracking worktop and has made an absolutely fantastic desk at a fraction of the price of hardwood standing desk of this size. This is 38mm oak so it is very heavy (i would guess somewhere between 40-50kg) so needs a decent level of support under it. Completely smooth finish with the knots filled. It's untreated (as expected) so I now just need to coat to up with some Danish oil.Communication from the seller was fantastic, I received a call within 48 hours (after ordering on the Saturday) to confirm the delivery date.This was so good, I've already ordered and received a second one!

Very pleased with these guys excellent solid top just what l wanted at a great price delivery was spot on to would definitely recommend and use again. Thanks John.Update last review was before I’d seen it without the clear plastic on it (oh dear) it masked a few things staves were not sanded flat lots of filler and sapwood which means very light against dark had to put a lot of work into this top to make it presentable eg. Sanding filling glueing flaky bits and staining light bits.

The worktops initially looked great but once we started to machine them they started splitting down the manufactured glued tops, there were so much filler in these tops and so many holes, wouldn’t recommend

Great value for money. We are using this in the laundry a work surface. It is a bit thin but looks great with a couple of coats of Danish Oil...I had a couple of holes and stray splinters to sort. Overall definitely worth the money
