You need this! Seriously. I've done oil changes for years and years - decades - and putting oil in the engine is always a pain. Either the funnel won't stay put in the filler opening and tips, causing oil to spill out or the pour to miss the funnel altogether, or the opening in the funnel is small and pouring in five or six quarts through a p**-hole takes forever. Not with this one! You do have to buy the right kind for your vehicle of course. Mine works in both my F150 3.5 EcoBoost and my 5.0 Mustang GT. It fits and locks into the filler opening, the funnel part of large so you can't miss when pouring, and it dumps the oil into the engine FAST. One thing I have always hated about putting in the oil is when for some reason I 'miss' and some oil gets onto the engine, which is not always even possible to clean it off completely. I just did my first two oil changes with this funnel and not a drop went anyplace but into the engine. I was a bit concerned that due to the funnel being so wide that it might not work with my Mustang 5.0 engine but it did clear everything and the oil went in quick and neat. (And the Mustang takes 8 quarts so there was a lot of pouring - I would hate to have had to put it in with a smaller funnel, and I sure don't want oil spilled onto my engine!)I poured oil quickly from 5 quart jugs through this funnel and it just went into the engine very fast. I didn't try dumping it in as quickly as possible because I didn't want to temp fate however the oil went through the funnel and into the engine way faster than any other way I've ever used.This is an enormous help. Lots of them are available, all basically the same product with different 'connections' for different cars; I'm probably going to get one more for my Lexus as that one has already suffered more than one spill while adding oil. It's sturdy enough for the job that it has to do, too. Great item! By the way, the paper towel by the funnel in my photo was there in case I missed with the initial pouring, but the funnel is so large, that wasn't a problem as you can see here - I had already put the oil into the engine, not a drip spilled by missing the funnel or coming out around the filler opening on the engine. Perfection.

This funnel works well in my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness. It has an adapter that screws onto the bottom which also makes it easy to tighten/remove if hands are oily. The top of the funnel is large enough to hold one-quart bottles. In the past, I would sometimes pour oil too quickly and it would back up and spill over the filler lip. Those days are gone as the ABM Automotive Funnel doesn't leak, stops spills, and makes oil filling a mistake-proof job. An added benefit is its quality. I expect it to last a very long time.

Why I never thought of this sooner. The oil change I just finished using this funnel was drip and spill free. This funnel made adding oil simple, fast, and clean. If you do your own oil changes I believe this funnel is worth buying, I am going to get one for my GF's Mini Cooper.

Perfect fit for Mazda oil changes. The only issue and reason for 4 stars. It’s two pieces and as you use it, they get loose/unscrew. So you need to tighten it multiple times a day, I wish it was just one solid made piece.

I have a whole set of these and they make changing oil a lot easier.They screw right into the oil fill cap hole and the O ring assures a leak proof connectionone of those tools you buy and ask how did I live without it for so long.Buy it.
