I wanted pink
I put this tape on a bland white Dodge van to give it some character. The application process was easy. The only problem/question that came up was when I had the vehicle hand waxed, by someone else. The wax seemed to not be easy to wipe away around a lot of the tape leaving black around it. When I went to rub the black off, the top plastic covering came off. So, I'm wondering if I was supposed to remove the plastic when I put on the tape. I will see what happens in the future. The tape has been on my vehicle for five months. There have been no problems with the tape coming off when going through the automatic car wash or when drying it. My main complaint is that I wanted the tape in pink but had to settle for blue! If they come out with pink I will purchase it and replace the blue with it.

Dual pinstripes on roll overlap and waver
Double line tape is convenient for creating even double pinstripes. Not this tape though. The way it is on the roll, it wavers, overlaps and just is not straight. I ended up cutting down the middle of the lines and just applying them separately. Kinda defeats the purpose of buying dual pinstriping. It goes on easy enough. Is relatively thick so it goes onto a black car without the black bleeding thru. Can't say the same about the decorative ends, however. They are made from an entirely different vinyl. Lighter in color and transparent. Totally unusable. Will I buy again? Not the double pinstriping, no. Single, maybe. We'll see if what I applied stands the test of car washing, heat and travel. Photos show how the tape comes on the roll and a quick example of the difference between the striping and the end points.

Easy install, the chrome is awesome
Unlike what some other reviewers have stated, I found this material and adhesive to be one of the best and easiest I've used for this type of pinstripe application.Just be careful to not make mistakes because there's not much extra length, for sure. I had to toss one section out due to my own planning error, and only had inches to spare on a midsize truck.I'm really glad I went with the chrome despite some negative reviews, because the effects are awesome depending on the different ambient light conditions. Sometimes the stripes blend in with my paint, sometimes, there is a stark contrast and looks much darker. Keeps things interesting.

Used this before on my race cars.
Got this because it is true metallic. If you want it to last more than a season be sure to seal it with a clear coat, or it will delaminate.
