Bought this for my mom who resides on an island that was devasted by the recent hurricane Irma. I was able to open box and check out quality of item which I am at moment pleased with. The volume is surprisingly really good and the item feels lightweight but sturdy. Clarity on screen is good. I’m thankful that this item will help bring back some normalcy and watch some humorous and uplifting movies.

The reason I didn't give it the full 5 stars is due mainly to the remote. You literally have to point it directly at the sensor on the DVD player or it doesn't work. So when you're travelling, this can be a very difficult maneuver. Other than that, the battery lasts a long time, the volume is well mediocre - you need plug in speakers whole driving, but while at home it is just fine by itself. Now I do drive a big loud truck so keep that in mind for my judgement. Maybe in a quiet vehicle this wouldn't be a problem. The car adapter charger that's included is awesome because it's extremely long. If it weren't for that pesky remote issue I would give it 5 stars.

Great portable dvd player for holding on your lap. Only reason it gets 3 stars is because i bought this with the strap that attaches to the back of the seat for my baby to watch , but when you flip it to make it flat and put any sort of pressure on it , it stops the dvd . But id you dont need it to bw flat its a great little dvd player.

The only thing I really don't like about this is the range of the remote. When the dvd player is in the headrest the sensor for the remote faces upright towards the roof and from the front seat I have to lean far back into the backseat and have my hand to the ceiling of the car facing down at it just for it to work. The range itself is horrible too, I have to push the same button about 4 to 5 times before it actually works.

Exactly what my aging mother in-law needed. She is far from technical minded but was quickly able to figure out the controls quickly.

Feels cheap but I'll get one for each child whenever i have more. Got it for my 14 month old to travel by car more than 8 hours or plan. It really came in handy with the wall plug in that we used in the car, it also have av cords and a remote, and a car adapter choir charging add well. I love it honestly.

Pretty slick device, very flexible with the remote control! Lithium battery a plus.

I like to use my portable DVD player when I’m going to sleep. My other one was wore out so I needed to get a new one. So far this one meets my needs and you can’t beat the price. It arrived very quickly too.
