I recently had an air con system installed and was a bit disappointed to find that getting the WiFi enabled model was about £250 more expensive per unit (which quickly adds up when you have more than one). I was researching ideas on how to handle this and came across Sensibo. The ad promised everything and I have to be honest I was a little skeptical on it's promise of compatibility but wow I'm truly impressed by this. It's a neat little unit on a USB charger that in essence acts as a remote control replicator with your device so it's truly plug and play and it took a little over 7 minutes to get it fully operational. I'm super impressed by how easy it is to use and the extended schedules and controls you get via the app. The alexa setup was a little bit trickier because I had to uninstall and reinstall the app but it's a super impressive contraption here and would highly recommend for anyone who wants to take control of their system!

The Sensibo Sky has made our Toshiba AC system totally controllable and the Smart features work perfectly, whereas previously it was only controllable by hand held remote within the room.

The concept is sound - maybe it works best through Google & Microsoft set up is easy .The problem is that climate react which given rules is supposed to work when the ac is scheduled to run I have it set to heat at 0600-1100/1600-000 when temperature is below 17˚ & to tun off above 18˚ not complicated.But with the mild weather & in the lock down I have seen that one or both units decide to power up & yet the ambient heat is above 18˚.Support keep telling me there is nothing wrong with the units I would have to differ I have had two live chat sessions that changed nothing (I did have an incorrect setting that was sorted but the problem persists ).

Really impressed, I've used a Broadlink RM mini to control my AC unit for some time, this was buggy, slow, unreliable and struggled to control the fan speed properly and timers were next to useless.This unit was a piece of cake to set up and just worked, the app is easy to use and does more than I expected, the price seems high for the hardware but it the backend and software that make it well worth the money as a bonus it works pretty well with Google Home / Google Home Hub

Firstly, let's get the price out of the way. At full this is well over priced. I bought in a flash sale which was still a bit much for a little plastic box (I've opened to see what's inside too).Now for the good. It's very easy to set up - point your current remote at it and press a button a few times and that's it. It then gives you app control of your AC on your phone including time/day control plus much more. We have a wired multi control on our AC but it's a complicated pig to use. This is so much easier!The not so good: The IR on this little box has to be pointed at your AC IR receiver and the USB cable to the mains is fairly short. I had to buy a longer cable to mount the unit where I wanted and it's then pointing 90° to the AC unit - I've made a reflector out of Al sheet to bounce the signal in the right direction. It is a small unit to easy to put somewhere (our stuck on the underhang of the windowsil).Comments: Some of the more fancy functions are on a subscription basis! A bit rich I think and not necessary. It also appears to only fire the signal once. Our AC occasionally needs the remote pressing more than once, especially to turn it off. So have found it still on once or twice when it should have been off. This is not Sensibo's fault but might be a suggestion that the signal repeats a few times a few seconds apart, especially on turn off.IF the price was right (£40 to £50) and the full functionality was not via subscription I'd give it 5 stars plus.

I have a holiday place in DK, which I only vist a few times a year, so I need something that can keep it frost free, while not wasting a lot of energy, so it must be able to react to the conditions and only heat when needed. Heatpumps with 8 degree C settings will waste way to much energy if running continuesly on that setting (and will in my experience run it much hotter than the setting says). I've so far had a system, where I can control the heatpump vis text messages, but I have to start and stop it manually. Using climate react, I can have this fully automized and so far it has been running really well. you can also set a schedule up and a number of other fancy stuff, but my reason for getting this was climate react and I have been very pleased so far.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Works for a while but then you have to spend 2 days or more waiting for their customer service team to troubleshoot and reset something at their end. This happens every 3 or 4 months.I've had 2 of these remotes for over a year. They are OK when they work but really fed up with having to seek support so often.

Connection is great and easy. Temp control excellent. Any problems with anything the customer service is second to none. Delighted with my purchase.
