Great for travel
Nice clear display and really simple to use. It feels good, and the magnetic is great if there's an area that concerns you a little bit.Without the ability to confirm if the readings given are accurate, I can only assume it is correct. The USB-C is a great choice for charging as it has more longevity.I would recommend for peace of mind while travelling.

Little guy saved our lives
We've had our carbon monoxide alarm trip a few times but we were never too sure why. I bought this as a safety precaution and kept it upstairs, and managed to catch it exceeding 100ppm when our alarm downstairs didn't go off. We have contacted emergency services and hopefully will finally get to the problem of this. This little guy has saved our lives!

Great build quality, slightly inaccurate readings
I have no idea how a gadget like this could possibly land under the £10 mark, but somehow it does. For a reasonably sturdily built detector with a decent display, week-long battery life, and a magnet, it certainly feels more premium than a basic detector with no screen. This is one gadget I would hope to never need to use, or activate. For testing purposes, I’ve set it to the lowest possible detection, so if ANY carbon monoxide was detected it would bleep, but thankfully it’s not detected anything to set it off - and I’ve been around city traffic.I would say it’s targeted at travellers who may wish to take readings while camping and burning a stove. Without constantly pressing of the button to activate full brightness, it will last a week approximately, so more than reasonable enough for a camping trip. Also built in is a humidity detector and a thermometer. I would say the thermometer is a few degrees out, both above and below, where I’ve taken readings from mercury thermometers as well as placing in monitored refrigerators.Humidity readings I cannot verify, but I would recommend not holding the meter in your hand to not get a misreading. A quick blow on the sensor will send the readings up dramatically from the humidity on your breath - so it works, but I don’t have a scientific reader to verify it with certainty how accurate it is.I cannot verify if it works as a CO detector, because thankfully there isn’t a build up of it in our house. Considering the devastating impact carbon monoxide could cause to you, having a “traffic light display of death” system of red, amber and green inspires you to question just how much carbon monoxide you want to detect before it’s too late and you’ve lost all coordination. An always-on monitor that lasts a week versus one without that’s powered by AA batteries that lasts a year means it’s obvious this is best for actively monitoring, but more for monitoring active conditions while you camp or barbecue and not for life and death situations.

Very nice piece of kit
Very handy tall, and very compact. If you find yourself an opposition where you’re working in closed environments, such as boiler rooms and things like that this would be an ideal tool to keep in your bag. I currently have mine clipped on the side of my tool bag, so with me on most jobs. Haven’t had any issues yet with the need to use it, however it’s just nice to know it’s there and I can check it and use it if needed.Good quality, well-made, and very easy to read. Happy to recommend.

Carbon monoxide detector
Awesome little carbon monoxide detector which we take with us when travelling, as you can't be too careful after hearing some horror stories of deaths in various resorts which used back up heaters etc.Good for peace of mind.
