The unit was beautiful and easy to put into action. Inside/outside temperatures easy to read. However, the alarm icon never appeared on the screen (believe me, I tried many times to engage/disengage the unit to make this icon appear), and every morning the alarm sounded at 6am. No matter how many times I read, re-read and followed the instructions, the alarm icon never appeared and I was unable to stop the alarm from sounding every morning.

I can't read the display without shining a light on it. There is not enough contrast to see it better.The accuracy I can't attest to, you just believe what you see when you can see it.Yes - I changed batteries several times and the display still hard to see, it is of very little use to me.

works as said. very accurate

LCD screen is 21/2 inches by 31/2 inches. With new batteries, screen is very dim. Cannot read beyond arms length. Product not worth price I paid.

This is exactly what I wanted.

I gave this as a gift to my dad. It’s wonderful!
