This Book Is AMAZING!
I purchased this book for some good dinner and dessert ideas, and it did not disappoint! You do need a few specialty items, like psyllium husk powder, almond flour, and oat fiber though. (Make sure to get LifeSource brand oat fiber only, however. Other brands tend to have an "off" flavor.)The first recipe I made was the pumpkin spice bars I made a double-batch, and baked it in a 13"x9"x2" pan, so I could freeze some of the leftover bars for later. I'm so glad I did! The recipe called for a keto friendly sweetener. I used 2/3 of the amount of sweetener as Xylitol, and the other 1/3 of the amount as Lakanto Golden Monk Fruit Sweetener. The mixture of the two sweeteners balanced out well. I only used 1/2 the amount of the maple extract called for, because the maple extract tends to taste strong in these recipes. I didn't tell my husband and son that these bars were keto, and they LOVED them! I think the oat fiber and psyllium husk powder help with the authentic texture and "mouth feel" that is missing, when only almond flour is used in keto recipes.I also made her cheddar garlic biscuits, and they were delicious also. I used them for biscuits and gravy, and it satisfied that craving.There are so many easy and family-friendly recipes in this book. Kristie Sullivan is the master of keto cooking!

Changed my sons health!
We have a young teenager that has been overweight half of his life. We’ve tried everything under the moon to get his health on course over the last few years. He never had the desire to improve and we didn’t want to make diet a 4 letter word for the rest of his life. We‘ve never stopped trying different tactics knowing that someday he’d resent us for not taking charge and being the parents he needs us to be. It’s a tough fine line.In yet another attempt to influence his habits, I bought this cookbook. He was instantly inspired and confident that he could do it. He’s bookmarked almost half of the pages, looks at it daily and even does some of the cooking.End result: In 5 weeks he has lost 20 lbs. He eats his favorite fast food meal once a week and every other meal is from this cookbook. I know that timing and maturity get some of the credit but without this cookbook, it wouldn’t have been enough to achieve his goals.

Impressive cookbook
The media could not be loaded. I have quite a few keto cookbooks, but this is the first one that actually has recipes I'm excited to make, that feel accessible, and look like the kids will actually enjoy eating.The back of the book has a photo index, as well as an allergen/icon index so I can look up recipes multiple ways.The author includes recipes that her kids helped create, as well as tried and true family favorites.After my daughter and I both got neurodivergent and ASD diagnosis, our psychologist stressed the importance of eating a keto diet to help regulate our brains. I've really been struggling with switching my cooking habits and our eating habits over without feeling deprived in a household of standard American diet eaters. I think with this cookbook we can make a smoother transition.

Delicious Recipes and lots of tips
Even my very picky husband loves most of these recipes. I have made about half of the recipe recipe book so far and I’m so happy with it.

Her Keto cookbooks are great if you are going Keto. Wonderful recipes. I am not doing Keto now but still use her recipes.

Like a swiss-army knife of keto recipes
All of Kristie's cookbooks are really valuable to the keto arsenal of recipes, but I am really excited for this one. This one offers a good wife range of recipes, my husband is keto, I am not, so we cook a LOT. This book has anything dough (for all your uses), fancy drinks to make you feel spoiled with strawberry flavored milk again, and everything in between.The level of difficulty for the recipes is perfect for me, I describe myself as a willing but unskilled cook, they're easy enough to follow along, and the results I've had gave me confidence to keep on cooking.If you need a keto cookbook that has a good variety of meals and snacks and desserts def pick this one up, and pick up crazy busy keto also by Kristie while you're at it. Recipes are delicious!
My son is really enjoying all of the items I’ve prepared so far. I’m having to substitute for some of the ingredients because they aren’t easy to find or they are just too expensive. Overall, this is an excellent book to help getting started on Keto.

Most flavor I've had in YEARS!
My husband is on a keto diet- when he first started I had no idea what that even meant but knew right away there were cookbooks I could try, so I got this one along with another, and let me tell you we haven't even TOUCHED the other one because these recipes are all our old favourites (and some new!) and we're practically living out of it! This cookbook has given our meals far more flavor than they had before (even in resturaunts!) and might just convince me to go keto! Even our youngest children love these recipes and they are so easy to follow. If you need a place to start your keto diet, this cookbook is it!!
