Worked Great for Lawnmower Kill Wire
My lawnmower with a v-twin Briggs had a bad kill wire, I ran it without the wire for years but it got to where it wouldn’t shut off without pulling the spark plug wire and since I’m listing the mower for sale I thought I’d fix the issue. To get a new wire you have to by the entire harness $$$ so I bought these diodes and made my own wire cheap. Now the mower turns off with the key again.

They worked great to fix a light that wasn't working in car
I replaced new part in dome light and work like new again. This was on a 09 hyundai that used this diode. Saved alot of money replacing myself.

Good replacement.
Good replacement. Did the job.Replaced one diode in my 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe dome light. It controls the dome light when you open the door.Only took me 2 years to get a "roundtoit". Now,,, I got 19 spare diodes.. Set for life.

Good quality
I taught a class on basic electronics for digital media students for a while. No textbook existed that was appropriate for the class, so I ended up writing one. As part of that book, I wanted my students to be able to re-create many of the basic circuits I included in it so they could gain some hands-on experience. I priced components very carefully so students could build their kits as affordably as possible.I built my own kit so I could demonstrate in class the things I discuss in the book. These fit the requirements well, and seem to be good quality as well.

worked as expected.
1N4007's are 1000 volt, 1 amp diodes commonly used in power supplies, and for upgrading older electronic equipment that use a rectifier tube. One can connect them in series to handle higher voltages and prevent breakdown when the power supply is turned off. Kind of a rule of thumb, multiply the DC voltage by 10 to get the PIV used to calculate the number of diodes. Example, you have a 300 volt power supply, thus 300 X 10 = 3000 so you would use three 1N4007's in series on each leg of the transformer that uses a center tap to rectify the AC.

These seem to work
I don't know electrons, but these worked for my automotive application. I wanted to drive 4x .1amp relays from two different power sources, but i needed to prevent back-powering the circuits because I used a single pole "override" switch instead of a 2-pole selector switch. Worked great, my high beams don't get back-powered when I turn on the bypass switch.

DIODE BARGAIN FOR DIY
I ordered these for a recent DIY electronic music project. Years ago I'd have to drive to the electronics wholesale place or at least to Radio Shack to get diodes with these specs. Now I can have 20 show up over night for about 50-cents each? What a deal. I love Amazon. These seem smaller than the previous type I've used but these have an even higher PRV voltage rating so I'm hoping they will hold up for years of use. We'll see. The price was sure awesome.Good music to all!
