I’ve been taking cardamom pod seeds for about 2 weeks. It’s really not time enough to really tell what they are doing, it I do know when I take them at night they seem to help me rest better.They way I take them is— I put about 8 pods in my mouth getting them soft and then I bust them open with my front teeth and get the seeds out. When all pods are open I have about a spoon full of seeds which I chew up. They have a great taste (though a little strong). I have made tea from them but I prefer chewing them. Also, they are a great source of fiber which is good if you have blood sugar trouble. I am writing this to let folks know what they have done for me. All bodies are different. But if they don’t help on those ways——— it’s a great source for dragon (bad) breath—- if you have bad breath.

This is my second time ordering these from this brand and once again the quality is the same- old, very dry and clearly old stock. I found stem and other debris in the bag, dried up cardamom skin and an overall bitter taste to them. There was no fragrance when crushed either.The first photo are pods that I received from this order where you can see the color, uneven texture of the pods like something is growing on them and in the second photo are cardamom pods from a different store bought brand showing you what good quality green cardamom should look like. The seller is consistent in their bad quality and one shouldn’t be buying it from them.
