Not to overshare, but we’ve got a wee buccaneer in the family with a lazy eye, and the doctor prescribed daily patching. These patches? Comfy as a hammock on a breezy deck—or so I’m told. Best of all, if one goes overboard, I don’t have to trade me treasure to replace it. Has the eye improved yet? Not quite. But the pirate jokes be flowin’ like a mighty tide, and our little matey is fully embracing the captain lifestyle. At this point, I’m just waiting for a request to swap our car for a ship.

I wear this patch after retinal treatment. This does prevent light from reaching my eye. Its somewhat uncomfortable to wear, but it is easy to adjust the fit and it doesn't move all over your head or face once adjusted. A much less expensive alternative than what is available to buy in stores.

These are somewhat small, they don't have enough of a curvature for my eye, so it rubs . Seem to be made well for the money. Just need that eye rub area deeper. Maybe they are for kids. Not sure. I have a small head. Like I said tho the eye area isn't enough and may not be enough for kids

Worked great after my detached retina surgery. Wasn’t required to wear a patch, but these were perfect to help keep me from being off balance with one eye very blurry.

This holds up well. My 4 year wears to strengthen her lazy eye. She calls it her pirate patch. Whatever tightness we adjust it, it stays. I have even watched in my Pj's pocket by accident and it works

The material is cup shaped which is why I ordered it. However, the material is not stiff enough to keep its shape, so it is easily distorted by the straps. They deform the patch, and pull it against the eye, defeating the purpose of the "cup" shape.I gave softness a 1 star not because it is not soft, but because it is! Well made. Nice adjustable elastic strap. Useless though, unless you want a patch pulled against the eye.

This was a lifesaver when I had an infection in my left eye that made it unbearable to see light. I tried other eye patches but they were too painful and didn't block the sun. This one was adjustable, I could wash if needed, it was cheap to buy, and easy to use. It made me able to do my daily tasks again. :)
