This is a fairly low cost masthead TV aerial amplifier, ideal for locating in the loft to provide TV aerial distribution to both a living room and bedroom(s).If you're buying this to improve a poor TV signal, do make sure that amplification is what you need first: start by making sure you've a good quality aerial, at sufficient height, and properly oriented. Also be careful not to over-amplify - an overly strong signal can cause as many problems as an overly-weak signal.

Most people who need some sort of TV single boost is by living in a bad reception area, mine is different with the aerial in the loft & have had photovoltaic panels installed on the roof. The results are the same, some channels unobtainable others breaking up. The reason I went for this type of unit is because, the nearer to the aerial the amplification there is less interference to the input of the TV. I successfully used a similar set up to boost a weak single 35 years ago.The kit contains the masthead amplifier, 13amp plug wired to a 12v power pack which has a green LED when powered up, 4 F type connectors, & no instructions. Installed the units TV channels back to what they were.Very happy with this purchase.Just checked the unit picture, should have been MA9 KIT 9db gain. I received MA25 KIT 12-25db gain, even better value. Ordered 3 pm Friday came 10 am Saturday Fitted by 2 o,clock,in every way the jobs a good'en.

Got this to replace an old one works as good as the old one

Located in the loft near the Aerial. Gave a good boost to the poor signal in the area.

Used for internal antenna where I could get get at best about 20% signal strength. Now up nearer 100%

This kit looked fine but, sadly, was returned as it didn't help with our poor tv reception. Probably just not the right thing for the job so I'm sure the kit was fine.
